About Dresser Marine

Dresser Marine, LLC was founded in 2003 by Captain Kent Dresser, and is the parent company of ‘Confident Captain’ and the ‘Professional Captain’s Association.’ Together these three entities offer customized marine logistics with landing craft services throughout the Northeast US, nation-wide professional development opportunities, maritime trade advocacy, and worldwide consultation for safe vessel operations in the private and public sectors. To date, more than 3,500 professional mariners have received training from Confident Captain including USCG Licensing Courses and internationally recognized Royal Yacht Association certifications. The Professional Captain’s Association is a first-of-its-kind trade organization for US-based captains of vessels under 200GRT. Its mission is to tirelessly advance the interests of these captains through professional development, advocacy, and industry collaborations.
